| Comments: | my father is german and we were in NYC this past June and went to what he called "der deutsche vertle" ( forgive my mispelling) on E 86th street and to his shock all the former german resturants and shops had gone from when he was there the last time. please tell me if there still a german ethnic community in manhattan with shops, resturants, etc.. |
